Revving Up Rolls - Forbes.com
With the Phantom Black’s recent introduction, Rolls has shown customers how to give the company’s $333,000 Phantom sedan–the only Rolls-Royce car on the market–a top-notch tailoring.
The company is hand-building 25 Phantom Black models, cars it says “demonstrate the best in Rolls-Royce design, engineering and craftsmanship.”
As the moniker suggests, black is everywhere, beginning with high-luster, metallic “Diamond Black” paint on the exterior. The car’s 21-inch alloy wheels have unique black detailing.
While the engine is the same 6.8-liter V-12 you will find on normal Phantoms, it comes with glossy black components, as well as chrome-plated top covers and black Rolls-Royce badges.
Inside, the soft, black leather upholstery is edged with “Seashell” piping. Rolls uses black ash wood veneers throughout the cabin, which are dark in finish but still allow the natural grain to show through.
A black leather headliner tops the cabin, and a silver pinstripe adorns each door capping. The dashboard has black metal foil with a finely embossed diamond pattern. The steering wheel has a slightly thicker rim than that of the regular Phantom.
The Phantom Black is as exclusive as a car can be. Of the 25 Rolls-Royce is producing, only nine are headed for the U.S.

We would strongly prefer a little under five pounds, but the rest of the features on this make it worth the added ounces.
LAPTOP Magazine • HP Compaq nc6400
At a little over five pounds, the HP Compaq nc6400 is one of the lightest 14.1-inch widescreen notebooks we’ve seen. This system doesn’t skimp on features to save on weight, either. In addition to a dual-core processor, the nc6400 features EV-DO connectivity and discrete graphics for the reasonable price of $1,999.

We’re all about high-end stuff. But to us it seems like the best use for this laptop is as a corporate loaner to encourage employees to buy their own damn equipment.
Acer Aspire 9800 20-inch Laptop Reviewed - Gizmodo
There is a line where a laptop is no longer a laptop: when you wouldn’t want to put it on your lap because it’ll restrict the blood flow to your legs. This Acer Aspire 9800 crosses this line: This behemoth has a 20-inch screen and weighs in at a thigh-crushing 17.3 pounds. Although it has a HD-DVD drive, for $2799 you could get a kick-ass gaming desktop and a wireless keyboard, which might also help to preserve future generations; all that heat ain’t good for your nether regions.
