ABC News: Sprint Power Vision Phone SCP-8400 by Sanyo

All killer, no filler, the Sanyo SCP-8400 is a top-notch, voice-focused phone for Sprint. Although it’s missing a few features that would make it the perfect handset, its excellent reception and voice quality make it my favorite feature phone for the Sprint network.

Of course, why wait? For a few (thousand) dollars more you can be three years ahead of the curve.

Widebody Thinkpad

News from PC Magazine: Lenovo Widens the Thinkpad T60

The new T60 Wide is almost 2 pounds lighter than the company’s Thinkpad Z61m. System weight will start at 5.1 pounds, making it the lightest 15.4-inch laptop on the market. The lengthened screen increases the width of the palm rest area for a more comfortable typing position, and if you live off of spreadsheets, you now have 4 extra columns by going from a standard 14-inch screen to a 15.4-inch widescreen.

We would prefer lighter still, but if you need the space this seems like a solid compromise.
